About Southeast Soccer Club:
Southeast Soccer Club is a community-driven youth soccer organization dedicated to developing the soccer skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork of young athletes in the Southeastern Connecticut region. Our club has a rich history of providing high-quality coaching and fostering a love for the game in players of all ages. Position Overview:
Southeast Soccer Club is seeking a highly organized & conscientious volunteer to secure, manage, schedule & oversee the field operations throughout the SSC year.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The field coordinator is expected to:
1. Assist the Director of Operations in ensuring a proper and safe playing environment;
2. Work in alignment with facility managers/directors, SSC coaches and managers and league director to schedule all home games throughout the soccer season (including U23 Summer League);
4. Organize marking of fields and field equipment (nets, flags, sandbags etc.); &
5. Assist the child and volunteer protection advocate in Safe Haven related matters.
QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRED SKILLS
To be considered for the position of field coordinator, the applicant should:
1. Have knowledge of properly marking soccer fields;
2. Work well with others;
3. Know how to delegate;
4. Communicate weekly with towns, schools and other locations used by SSC;
6. Communicate with Referee Assignor on a weekly basis to confirm game times & locations;
7. Have working knowledge of field and equipment safety; &
8. Successfully pass a screening, including a background check.
COMPENSATION
50% of 1 child’s annual registration fee.
