In order to keep our soccer family connected, while we all have to remain physically separated during this challenging time, the club will be doing everything it can to update our social media outlets and website with interactive activities and fun exercises to keep everyone engaged.
We encourage all players, developmental and showcase, families coaches and officials to get involved. Each day, the club will roll out a theme, which will encourage interaction.
We also encourage any players to send us their short training video's so that we can share on the our Instagram Live feed. Training video's can be emailed to Tom Butler at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Coach Matt Forde & the 2004 Boys have challenged the entire club, including players, coaches and families to the #SSCPushUpChallenge:
7 Day Challenge | Baseline test how many push ups you can do in 1 set (should be roughly 70 - your age). Then do 100 push ups a day, for 7 days in a row. The 100 can be split up throughout the day. Then, on day 8, retest your maximum set in one go. Hopefully you will improve your maximum set. Videos are expected to show evidence. GOOD LUCK!
