SSC Tryout Information

Southeast Soccer Club 2013-14 Tryouts
(Schedule and Registration Below)

Thank you for your interest in Southeast Soccer Club and attending our tryouts. For the tryout, we wish you to bring a Birth Certificate for your child if they have not been a part of our club before. You will also be required to complete a Registration/Medical Release Form prior to the tryout. For the tryout, we require all players to bring their own ball, be properly equipped, i.e. shin guards covered by socks and a source of water.

You will be required to bring your own ball, and water. We wish you good luck as you compete for a position on one of our teams. We are dedicated to developing players to compete at a high level in a very competitive environment. If you are offered and you accept a position with one of our teams you may expect an aggressive training schedule, good coaching, and challenging competition. In return we expect your full commitment to your team and your full support of SSC.

SSC is committed to age appropriate team placement. We believe that training and playing at “age” is better for the long-term development of the player. Doing so also puts our teams in the best position to compete at the highest level. Players are required to attend tryout sessions with the team representing their actual “U-age”.

SSC is managed and administered by volunteers. If you are interested in working with the club in some capacity, please contact me. Many hands make for lighter work and there is plenty of work to go around. Upon accepting a position on a SSC team you join our club. The dues to join are:

U-10 Full year teams (fall, winter, spring) - $1,025
U-11 thru U-14 Full year teams (fall, winter, spring) - $1,425
U-14 thru U-16 Partial year teams (winter, spring) - $1,125
U17 and Older Partial year teams (winter, spring) - $1,025
Note: U-14 status is based on the grade levels of the players. Players that play for their high school teams may not play for SSC in the fall. If there are enough players we will have fall competition at U-14

The dues are in addition to travel expenses for games and room and board at tournaments. Occasionally certain teams will engage in additional activities which require a higher payment. Your coach and manager will provide information about any additional required amounts.

U9 - U14 Location: At Spera Park
U5 - U18 Location: New London High School

Time: Registration at 5:30 to 6:00 . . . . . Tryouts at 6:00 to 7:30

Notes: Bring copy of birth certificate.

U-9 & U-10 will attend a player assessment. All interested U-9 & U-10 players will be invited to a team.
