Biography:
Doug brings energy, enthusiasm and a contagious passion for the game of soccer to SSC. He has coached Rec programs from PeeWee to U10 and travel teams from U11 to U14 and is the current U10 Boys Head Coach for SSC. A student of the game, he is continually studying and observing up to date drills, strategies and tactics to compliment his passion and understanding of the game. A Colorado native, Doug owns and operates a design/ build remodeling business and lives with his wife Lynne and their two daughters Maddy and Lilly in Essex. Doug started running 6 years ago and runs an annual marathon or 1/2 marathon to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. He has raised over $5000. over the last 6 years for the Terri Brodeur Cancer Foundation in the name of a good family friend, Katherine Jackaruso.
